Part 1

Her daughter soon becomes the matriarch, inheriting the wealth of her mother’s culture while generations after, inspired by their Malay, Chinese and indigenous roots- a contemporary style materialises in fusion to bring all of their stories together. Colours, silhouettes and elements that are familiar is reinterpreted for the now; and the woman lives on.
Part 2
Music and dance is the soul of her people. The gods and the heavens know, for songs of her people are sung as offerings. In hopes that this spirit stays in the heart of her child who is set for the big city, she prepares them with an instrument, made out of soul and earth from home. They are now fully prepared.
A new sound so ancient, long hidden in the mountains is now presented to the world, and everyone is captivated. As this new star evolves with time spent in the city, they are seen reimagining the colours and the birds of Borneo in casual, off-stage looks. Never forgetting their roots.
Part 3
It is only when the two comes together, a third- the new, is born. She’s in bloom and powerful; reflective in the way she dress. Ready for the new that will be forged through a marriage of legacy and history. Her style displays a growth that is sure and sophisticated, understanding that her true self is in between who she was and who she is now, as her other half warmly receives her.
