It is as red, as fiery: a heat that now tastes like home. Chilli was never native here. It crossed an ocean from the Americas, arrived through the shores of Goa, and was carried on Portuguese ships until it found its way into every kitchen from Sumatra to the Sulu Sea. Can we imagine Southeast Asia without it now?
The Chilli Maxi is draped in homage to the saree — a single asymmetric length that wraps over one shoulder and falls into a pleated, drop waist hem.

Because this piece is cut from sheer, lightweight chiffon, it's delicate and prone to snagging or creasing.
Remove the Chilli brooch before washing
Hand wash only, in cool water with a gentle detergent
Do not wring — swish gently and press out excess water
Air dry away from direct sunlight; do not tumble dry
Iron on low heat, ideally with a cloth between iron and fabric, or steam on low
Avoid rubbing against sharp or rough surfaces that may snag the fabric
