The Tala Robe is inspired by the grounding pulse of tāla—the rhythmic framework that shapes Indian classical music and dance, where every beat holds intention. On the cuffs, it carries a verse by Subramania Bharati, a call to honour what we create and who we become:

நல்லதோர் வீணை செய்தே,
அதை நலங்கெடப் போக விடுவோமா?

Translation: 
You have made a fine veena.
Will you let it fall to dust for nothing?

Because this garment uses an ultra-light cotton voile that feels airy on the skin, it's delicate and prone to superficial scuffing. Treat it like a sensitive soul: 

• Hand wash with gentle detergent. 
• Air dry only. Do not machine dry. 
  
• Steam or iron on lowest heat. 
• Avoid rubbing against sharp or rough surfaces that may damage the fabric.
